Matches, Ledbury Rd W11

There are a number of Matches stores scattered around London but each store operates like an independent shop. Staff do approach you a lot in this shop, some may find this lovely others may just find it annoying.

Matches is what I would call a ‘safe’ designer boutique, you wouldn’t find anything over-the-top here. 

Hoxton Boutique

Hoxton Boutique, 2 Hoxton Street

This really takes the personality of the people that live in Hoxton, they knew what there were doing. It may not be the most luxurious experience, but it is really fun, if I can call it that…

In-your-face fashion that has a few subtle parts. 

Oxfam Boutique

Oxfam Boutique, 245 Westbourne Grove W11

Not your typical Oxfam store, in fact it’s totally different. Recycled fashion that has also been revamped as well as the shop itself. 

This shop really shows how we are trying to become more green, in the current situation but in an amazing way.

Start

Start, Rivington Street/Charlotte Road E1

The staff are lovely and friendly here and they don’t mind you having a look around even if they know you can’t afford anything, I’m sure they are very used to it here with there amazing designer range, Miu Miu to Marc by Marc Jacobs. 

This store has the labels like Selfridges and Liberty but it has a pleasurable shopping environment that makes you want to go back.

Bluebird

Bluebird, 350 Kings Road SW3

This lovely art deco style shop is beautiful, its based in the former home of the bluebird food market. This store has primarily womenswear clothes but is bringing in a bit of menswear and childrenswear here and there. 

Bluebird brings amazing collaborations that will continue to make this part of west London worth a visit.

The Convenience Store

The Convenience Store, 1a Hazelwood Tower W10

With its art gallery vibe and deconstructed shopfit, the luxury shop vows to challenge other shop out there, it really brings something different.

Creating a unique shopping environment of hand-picked exclusivity.

Urban Outfitters

Urban Outfitters, 38 Kensington High Street W8

Spaced out lovely store, same sort of prices as Topshop, but you feel a lot more relaxed looking here, you don’t feel like you’re in a rush you can easily browse, I love how that they also focus there thoughts on the music in this shop.

This store brings a pleasant twist to high street stores

Browns Focus & Browns

Browns Focus & Browns, 39 South Molton Street W1
Browns Focus- This street is drenched in fabulous shops. It stocks clothes that you dream about owning think Meadham Kirchhoff and Richard Nicoll. The interior is very well presented, quite a small store, but set out in a way that it's easy to look around.

Browns Focus being the younger sister of the Browns shop, it is fantastic.

Browns- The Christopher Kane and Josh Goot dresses are majestic. I felt quite uncomfortable in there, as the target audience for this store is not me, I probably should be shopping in browns focus out of the two.

It is heaven for those who love fashion, and have the money to spend on it...

Selfridges

Selfridges- Oxford St W1

It ticks all the boxes in my eyes, I think I could easily spend my whole day just in this one store. The interior is clean and very beautiful, and all staff are friendly and really easy to talk to.

Everything you want under one roof, with a snazzy new shoe department where could you really go wrong?

Dover Street Market

Dover Street Market, 17-18 Dover Street W1

The store is over 4 floors, menswear and womenswear mixed. You can make sure you are well looked after by a personal shopper, navigation around the store was simple, with a massive list of designers all down the inside of the lift, if you knew what you wanted you could find it straight away. The changing rooms are stunning but not so comfortable. As a man you would most certainly walk out there with some awesome new trainers from Raf Simons and as a woman a cocktail dress from Boudicca. 

This 'market' is a great place to get inspired.

Acne

Acne, Dover St W1

Spread over four floors and a basement, the store's design pays tribute to the building's former role as an art gallery. The trendy Swedish label’s first UK shop is based in the heart of London’s Mayfair.

Acne's collections have a slightly eccentric aura that hover over it's name. 

Liberty

Liberty, Regent Street W1

Liberty has a classic, victorian style exterior which makes the place so fantastic to visit, the department store houses collections from an eclectic range of hip, cutting-edge designers. These collections are set out on labelled rails that take over a whole floor, you could really spend a whole day drowning yourself in the fashion here. As well as the fashion labels the store also has an amazing coffee shop and many other attractions. 

It's traditional in it's style but fresh faced in the designers it carries. 

B Store

B Store, 24 Savile Row

All the staff were friendly and lovely, it made it comfortable to walk in and look around. The décor here is a bit strange... Clothes-wise, they carry lots of Bernhard Willhelm, Peter Jensen, Ann-Sofie Back, and most of the other popular British designers, they're really good at supporting London-based fashion. They also have their very own line which is pretty cool as well. 

It's pretty dark, perfect for its ever-changing art installations.

Topshop

Topshop, Oxford Street WC1

This high-street store, is probably the busiest store I’ve ever been in. Regardless of this, it’s amazing, from the fantastic window displays to it's very own boutique.  Although you have so much to choose from, and maybe spoilt for choice, you probably wouldn't leave this store without buying at least one item, this is why it is so incredible.  Christopher Kane & Louise Goldin are a few designers that have designed for them.

Topshop really is the place to be for high-street fashion.
